Follow the Jacksonville rapper Julio Foolio Murder Trial — Florida vs. Alicia Andrews

The court case of the woman accused of helping plan the murder of Florida rapper Julio Foolio is now underway in a Tampa courtroom.

According to prosecutors that Andrews acted as a lookout while Foolio celebrated his birthday. They claim she coordinated with others who later trapped the rapper in a Tampa hotel lot.

A group of armed men allegedly opened fire, fatally shooting the rapper and injuring three others.

Andrews is charged with first-degree murder and conspiracy to commit murder.

Prosecutors have presented forensic phone records that they say show her role in the planning. This includes Instagram messages and videos recovered from her iCloud.

The defense argues that she didn’t know what the others intended to do. Her team insists she was just on a trip with her boyfriend.
